Simply Jesus
It is finished. Those were Christ’s last words before He took His final breath on the cross. Everything that Jesus did on earth was leading up to this moment. Jesus took the pain of this life so that you and I wouldn’t have to. The details of His crucifixion reveal the most horrendous death imaginable, yet He was sinless. He was undeserving of the punishment He endured. He took our pain, suffering, sickness, disease and more. The past, present, and future of mankind deserved to hang on that cross as punishment for sin. But Jesus did it for us! Our God is holy, pure, and without fault. Because of what Christ did, you are worthy to come before His throne. Now you have an Advocate before the Father.
Through faith in what was accomplished at Calvary, we can overcome anything. Nothing more needs to be done, Jesus did it all. When life gets tough, put your faith in the One who sacrificed everything for you. He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. He’s the author of your story. Do your part and believe with your whole heart that He’s taking care of you. You must believe.
The Gospel message is simple, not complicated. It’s easy to be intimidated by the Word of God, but we don’t have to be. God will pour out His knowledge to those who seek Him. When God put it on our hearts to write a book for His people, He was very clear that it should be simple. We could argue points or drown you in details, but that’s not what He called us to do. Our heart’s desire is to see believers new and old become true disciples for Christ. God has more for you than just a message on Sundays. Seek Him and find out what it is.
